RATHMORE YOUTH CLUB
Rathmore Youth Club is for and about young girls aged between 10-15 years old. Rathmore is a place where girls are helped to use their free time well, to live happy and fulfilled lives and to be of genuine service to others.
PRICE
10 euro (pay as you go)
The price is supplemented by grants awarded to the Club by CDYSB/LYCGS.
DATES
The Clubs run on Friday at 4.15-6.15pm for 4th-6th class and from 7.00-9.00pm for 1st and 3rd years.

WHAT WE FOCUS ON
Rathmore Club offers a wide of activities.
COOKERY
Cookery is a key activity in Rathmore Club. Learning new skills, working in a team, completing a task from start to finish - these are all qualities that a great habits to build for the future. Sharing is an integral part of this activity and once a month the Club members bake for the homeless.
ARTS AND CRAFTS
Painting and designing help the girls think of a project from start to finish, and develop their creative side. With the help of the Club leaders this activity is a real fun experience while teaching key skills and working all together. The Club mural is a testimony to this.
TEAMWORK GAMES & SPORT
There are a number of teamwork games that help the girls gel and get to know each other better in an informal setting.
VOLUNTEERING
The Club is also about opening horizons for young people and facilitating their development through the various programmes run and fostering their sense of civic and social responsibility through age appropriate activities from the Temple Street Great Bake Off to working with charities supporting the homeless.
