WHAT WE FOCUS ON
The facilities in Rosemont have enabled us to offer high-quality activities. Our star activity is cookery. We also offer arts and crafts, dance and teamwork games. One of our teen leaders gives a small talk on virtue or an aspect of the Christian faith. Virtue can be on how to better like growing in generosity (helping at home, cleaning up your room, etc.) or learning about the faith (what is the Mass, who is Jesus Christ, etc.) . Each month, there is a motto that the girls focus on to help them think of others more.
Cookery is a great activity for the girls. Learning new skills, working in a team, completing a task from start to finish - these are all qualities that a great habits to build for the future.
ARTS AND CRAFTS
Painting and designing help the girls think of a project from start to finish, and develop their creative side. Our Club leaders have vast experience on how to create this activity into a real fun experience while teaching key skills and working all together.
TEAMWORK GAMES & DANCE
There are a number of teamwork games that help the girls gel and get to know eachother better in an informal setting. We have also have a great teen volunteer who loves to dance and shares her skills every Saturday with the girls.
Glenua Junior Club is located in Rosemont School, Enniskerry Road, Sandyford.
